Mark was born in Brantford and has called the city home for more than 40 years. As a local business owner and active community member, he understands the concerns residents are raising across Ward 2.

Mark believes strong leadership starts with listening. He is committed to hearing from residents, valuing their feedback, and turning local concerns into practical action.

What Mark Is Focused On

Waterfront Master Plan

Ward 2 needs renewed focus on Brantford’s trails, river access, tourism opportunities, and natural resources. Mark supports activating the Waterfront Master Plan to help protect drinking water, reduce flooding concerns, and improve safe access to the river.

Lead Pipe Replacement Program

Many older homes in Ward 2 could benefit from improved access to the lead pipe replacement program. Mark wants to increase awareness, improve communication, and help move this important safety program forward.

Downtown Revitalization

Downtown Brantford continues to grow as a destination for events, food, education, housing, and business. Mark believes experienced leadership is needed to support continued revitalization and help complete key projects.

Infrastructure

Traffic congestion and delays caused by overlapping projects show the need for better planning. Mark will advocate for strategic infrastructure improvements before problems become failures.

Better Communication Around Taxes

Residents deserve clear, honest communication about how tax dollars are being used. Mark has a record of strategic fiscal spending and believes major infrastructure priorities should be explained clearly to the community.
